HEOS: Building a brand from concept to launch
Amplifying a new generation of sound
Denon is a long-standing global electronics brand, with a reputation for quality and innovation. They reached out to Red Door for support on the launch of their newest product: an app-enabled, wireless speaker system.
Denon came to us with just a prototype for their speaker in-hand, as the product was only in pre-production at the time. Together, we had to imagine how to develop an engaging brand presence around what would become HEOS by Denon—and how to get the story out.
Our project goals were to first develop an effective brand identity for Denon’s new line of wireless speakers, and then create collateral to support and promote it to their audiophile audience.
Naming and logo development
We worked with the client through several iterations of names and logos, until we landed on an identity that we both felt expressed the youthful irreverence and tech-savviness Denon wanted to portray.
Brand marketing collateral
We developed a variety of materials to support the launch and ongoing marketing efforts of HEOS by Denon, including: product packaging, POP and tradeshow graphics, video direction, and various online deliverables such as blog strategy and creation, emails, and landing page design, development, and SEO implementation.
