Redefining the Future of Clean Energy
Red Door partnered with SDG&E to build awareness of their clean energy initiatives and encourage EV adoption and community engagement across San Diego and Southern Orange County.

SDG&E wanted to increase awareness around the impact of their clean energy services locally and nationally and drive engagement with sustainable initiatives.
Red Door identified a need for a campaign that not only educated on EV benefits but inspired adoption and pride in local clean energy progress.
“It’s On” EV Awareness Campaign
Red Door developed the 'It's On' campaign, grounded in consumer research, to raise awareness of EV benefits, educate consumers on clean energy options, and motivate adoption. The platform gave SDG&E a clear, ownable message that made the transition to electric vehicles feel accessible and exciting.

Multi-Platform Media Plan
We built an immersive media plan spanning digital, social, and environmental out-of-home placements to maximize reach and engagement. The multi-platform approach ensured the 'It's On' message reached consumers at different stages of EV consideration.

Visual & Experiential Assets
We created a full suite of visual and experiential assets, including logo design, animated videos, social ads, banners, billboards, and interactive kiosks, to bring the 'It's On' campaign to life. Each asset was tailored to its environment, from highway billboards to interactive touchpoints at community events.

Project Outcomes
The work elevated SDG&E’s clean energy initiatives and supported broader community engagement around sustainability.
Let’s build something greater together.
