Speaker Series: Do you even need a website anymore?
Event format
Event Recap
About the event
Despite AI's takeover of the internet, the need for a brand website isn't going away anytime soon. But the purpose of websites and the way we build them are both changing fast.
Bots and AI agents now read, summarize, and take action on websites alongside real visitors, pushing marketers past generative engine optimization (GEO) into harder calls on security, development, design, and editorial strategy. Design systems and content engineering can increase scale and speed to market. And AI-assisted development promises more speed and lower cost, but raises new questions about quality and oversight down the road.
At our next Speaker Series on Wednesday, November 4, we'll explore how organizations can build a web presence that works for people and machines alike, without losing what makes a brand worth visiting.
Drawing on expertise in data and MarTech, web development, and experience design, the panel will unpack:
- How your website strategy should evolve as AI changes the way customers discover, evaluate, and transact with your brand
- How modular design systems and reusable content can help your team move faster without losing the quality and oversight that speed tends to cost
- What you can do now to take advantage of AI-assisted coding and prepare for a more agentic future
Join us at our San Diego headquarters for an interactive discussion, light breakfast, and networking.
