Every Wednesday at 3:30 we get together to celebrate an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed and be 100% jerk-free. Our Share & Tell edition invites an employee to share something that inspires them and has a unique story. This week Adam, our Associate Digital Analyst, brings his 2014 Denver Broncos season tickets.
"My grandma has had season tickets to the Broncos for 20+ years, which has given me the opportunity to see the tough transition from John Elway to Peyton Manning first hand. However, this year was going to be different. My grandma was selling her season tickets and my only hope for seeing a game was a playoff game. Even though I was confident the Chargers weren't going to take home field advantage away from us, I didn’t want to take that chance, so I purchased my grandma’s season tickets.
Now with my second We:30, I have come to the realization that my family and I despise pictures because I don’t have a single “selfie,” family picture, or fan photo of me using my grandma’s season tickets over the years. Therefore, I have included a few pictures showing my love for football. Now, the only picture I have taken is from this year’s opening game against the Colts. The only reason I took this picture was so that I could show Justin, our Digital Analyst, that I was able to see Andrew Luck up close (Justin is a huge Colts fan). Thanks to We:30, I now know that I don’t take nearly enough pictures. So, on October 23rd, when the Broncos take on the impressive-looking Chargers, I will snap enough pictures to fill an iPhone 6 Plus."
