Red Door Interactive was honored to be named one of San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for the 8th year in a row!  Some of our valued employees got to attend the awards event and accept on our behalf.  Amy and Reid Carr, Kate De Jong, Lauren Arcangelo, and Lexi Tierney were the smiling faces in attendance.

The 2014 SDBJ Best Places to Work event was hosted at the beautiful Paradise Point Resort in Mission Bay.  The tropical paradise was a perfect setting for this exciting ceremony.  SDBJ delighted us with delectable finger foods, tasty drinks, and yummy treats to satisfy our sweet tooth.

The Best Places to Work list is made up of 100 companies and is split into four categories; small, medium, large, and mega.  Red Door Interactive is thrilled to be named the 6th Best Place to Work in the medium size category. Congratulations to all the winners, we are proud to share this with you!

So, wait, how is a company selected as a Best Place to Work? A big part of the selection process is based on employee surveys. Each company also submits essays highlighting various benefits that make their company an enjoyable place to work.  Some of the benefits included in our essays were our culture, Summer Games, and flexible work schedules.

Our culture sets us apart.  You can find our culture hashtag (#RDICulture) to see some of the shenanigans that happens with the fun people we work with.

Our Summer Games keep us young at heart. Summer Games is where we close the office early for the entire office to participate in some crazy games.  With this year’s Summer Games quickly approaching (this Thursday!) our team spirit is getting intense.  We invite you to contribute by "liking" our Facebook page and voting for the best dressed team on Thursday!

Along with games and fun, Red Door also offers flexible work schedules to allow people to work remotely as needed and an office setting that accommodates this (use of WebEx, Skype, configuration of conference rooms with video capability).

So, let’s just say, we’re happy and grateful to be where we are!
