Attention all of you creative gurus!! Red Door is seeking a contract Senior Art Director and Junior Designer to join our Creative Team. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning, growing digital agency with offices located in downtown San Diego, California with panoramic views of San Diego bay and Petco Park, and just north of downtown Denver, CO in the trendy RiNo district.

FREELANCE SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Candidates must have interactive agency experience working with large brands and the ability to strategically guide clients from concept through production. He/she must also have an in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to know when to leverage them effectively for our client’s business goals.

Ideal credentials:
* 5-7+ years of interactive agency experience
* Expert in the following programs – Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
* Experience working in Flash, Dreamweaver
* General understanding of Web 2.0/3.0

The ideal candidate demonstrates the following:
* Red Door’s core values (ie: 100% Jerk Free, Empower clients)
* Impressive portfolio that includes online advertising (rich media+), web site design and e-mail
* Ability to develop multiple, different looking designs that all align with the brief
* Ability to extend existing brands online when needed
* Strong knowledge of information architecture and usability
* Constant creative collaboration with all teams
* Ability to effectively delegate work
* Excellent presentation skills to both small and large groups
* Effective and fluent communication between internal teams as well as clients
* Good understanding of any external resources required to execute ideas
* Effective management of multiple deadlines and heavy workload

FREELANCE JUNIOR DESIGNER

Contractor should have a BA in Interactive or Graphic Design or equivalent experience. 1 to 2 years of agency experience is preferred. Requires working knowledge of Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Also requires thorough familiarity with MAC platform. Experience working in Flash and HTML based media is preferred, as well as an understanding of animation and motion design technologies. Please include portfolio links within your resume attachment.
