The Bravest Superhero

Red Door Interactive: Latest post

There comes a time when the right thing to do just makes sense. A little boy named Max needed help, and with the support from coworkers and friends, I knew how to make a difference.

Max Kleckner is my next door neighbor, the son of my parent’s closest friends, and my little sister’s favorite play date. Unfortunately, Max got diagnosed with cancer on July 4th of this year. It breaks my heart to see Max going through treatment and I wanted to help in someway.

So, I volunteered to build Max a new website. There was a press release coming out the following week and the current site was not going to work for the family’s fund raising needs. We needed a site that was public facing, informative, and allowed people to make donations online. With the additional help from a few of Red Door’s experts, and a long weekend in front of the computer, Max now has a brand new blog to help raise money for the family and keep the community informed.

Since the site launched there have been numerous articles written about Max’s story. The San Diego Union Tribune and North County Times posted great articles about a recent community event held for Max. Both which link back to the web site. Awareness for the bravest superhero is growing and it’s good to know there is a site to support it.

This is a great example of simple ways we can all come together and make a difference in someone’s life.
