The web site Red Door developed for the Del Mar Fairgrounds receives thousands of hits every year during the three-week run of the San Diego County Fair. There are also various events throughout the year, such as the Screamzone for Halloween and the Holiday of Lights during the holiday season.

The content management system developed by Red Door was specifically designed to ease the seasonal transitions that take place on the site while retaining the content, navigation and structure to which attendees are beginning to become accustomed. Information can be accessed in different ways so visitors can quickly find the information they are looking for. For example, the event information is displayed by date or venue (stage or bullrings, building). Visitors may also search for events by type (such as gem shows or livestock.)
