‘Tis the season of giving, but here at Red Door giving is in season all year long. Being a successful organization means not only bringing success to our clients through Internet Presence Management, but also being able to give back. As we look back on 2010, Red Door has so much to be thankful for, including the ability to make a difference by giving all year long.

While in the past we have shared our Internet Presence Management expertise with various charities, this year we decided to align our pro bono efforts with a single nonprofit, New Leader for New Schools. NLNS aims to recruit, train and support exceptional leaders to dramatically improve the academic performance of students at urban public schools. The commitment to one charity fits into our overall business model which focuses on results-oriented, long-term construct. We want to provide the same commitment to NLNS as we do to our clients, and through this partnership we are able to give back all year long.

While NLNS is our main pro bono commitment, we also give back to our local communities here in San Diego, Carlsbad and Denver though various philanthropic efforts. Caring Hearts, our philanthropy committee, was created in an effort to foster a workplace that supports giving back to the community. This year we launched a Caring Hearts Facebook group which we use to share any charitable work we are doing, photos, upcoming volunteering events, or resources related to philanthropy. Over 2010 we have participated in a Beach Clean-up, volunteered at the MS Walk, held a food drive at all three offices, participated in Wreaths Across America, and participated in a Toys for Tots Snow Day. Our philanthropy committee has united Red Door around a good cause, and we encourage you to start one within your organization.

Today business is about more than just making money. It’s about making a difference. We here at Red Door know the importance of giving back, and are committed to bringing success to our clients so that we can ensure the continuance of our philanthropic efforts. Red Door Interactive has always been committed to giving back. The commitment to one charity will fit into our overall business model which focuses on results-oriented, long-term construct.  After much consideration Red Door has now chosen to align our business with the nonprofit, New Leaders for New Schools, which is a nationwide organization that recruits and trains aspiring urban public school principals.

New Leaders for New Schools aims to recruit, train and support exceptional leaders to dramatically improve the academic performance of students at urban public schools.

Red Door’s multi-year commitment to New Leaders for New Schools will enable us to apply our Internet Presence Management model, which has proven successful for us and our clients, to help NLNS continue to achieve its goal of attracting outstanding educators to drive change in urban public schools.

Red Door feels strongly about the work of New Leaders for New Schools and the organization’s success thus far has been notable. We are excited to see how our Internet Presence Management model will further help drive the results that the organization has already seen.
