In celebration of one full month on the job, Red Door is proud to share a bit of background information on our recent hire, Morgan Witt. Morgan joins our Business Optimization and Planning team and is putting over a decade of experience in online marketing to work developing  retention tactics to drive revenue for clients from existing customers.

Prior to joining Red Door, Witt founded NOVOLOGIQ, a strategic marketing and communications consultancy. NOVOLOGIQ offers client’s integrated marketing and communications strategies that aim to translate business objectives into results driven online marketing programs.  Witt previously served as director of marketing strategy for Juice Media where he was responsible for developing client marketing initiatives and overseeing the development of the company’s flagship product, JuiceMetrIQs[TM]. In earlier years, he was both senior account development manager as well as director of deliverability and ISP relations at the BlueHornet division of Digital River, Inc.  At BlueHornet, Witt developed and managed online marketing campaigns for enterprise brands such as Forbes, Citysearch and KSL Resorts.  His experience also includes four years of marketing and operations roles at Capital One and Peoplefirst.com.  Witt holds a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from National University.

Morgan is a San Diego native and a huge Charger’s fan who always has season tickets. In addition, Morgan is a huge audiophile, cool hunter and DJ who also runs a successful international electronic music blog,  Strictly Social. He was recently interviewed about his thoughts on the future of music blogging at NYLVI, an online marketplace for vinyl records.

Talk about hitting the ground running, Kelli spent her first few days in the office in and out of airports and on-site at Cricket, getting a crash course in both her new client as well as the best way to walk in the snow while wearing heeled boots. Lucky for us, Kelli is used to juggling multiple projects. With a background in business development, non-profit fundraising  and project management,  Kelli spent the last two years  successfully operating her own San Diego-based Professional Organizing Company, Adame Organization, and recently completed her first semester of graduate school.

A San Diego native, Kelli was familiar with Red Door’s reputation as a company with great clients and great employees. Her interest grew during the interview process as she became more familiar with the company values and mission. “Every day is a new adventure,” she says, “I feel blessed to be working among so many experts, and with a team so committed to client success,” she said.

In addition to engaging her entrepreneurial spirit and academic pursuits, Kelli, who recently moved to Coronado, enjoys spending time at the beach, salsa dancing, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Red Door is growing! One of our key new hires is former McCann Worldgroup director David Holtze, stepping in as our newest business manager. David was most recently responsible for the global marketing agency’s NAS Recruitment Communication division’s business development initiatives, and previously led three of its offices in San Diego, Chicago and Phoenix.

Originally from the Windy City, David fell in love with San Diego (“the people, the ocean, the weather, the laid back vibe, the weather…”) while working in Phoenix, but this self-proclaimed weekend traveler loves to take quick trips around the US as well as longer trips to visit friends living all over the globe, like an upcoming sojourn to New Zealand in February.

When he isn’t packing a suitcase, David plays the guitar and croons vocals around his North PB neighborhood. Not one to stay inside, David surfs, hikes and has been known to run half-marathons and marathons.

When asked, David explains that he was attracted to Red Door’s interactive, IPM (Internet Presence Management) focus, in addition it’s award-winning reputation for workplace excellence. “And you just can’t beat the office or the view,” he jokes.
