San Diego – August 10, 2011 – Red Door Interactive, a premier strategic Internet Presence Management firm, announced today the addition of three new hires to the Downtown San Diego office as a result of its continued growth.

The agency welcomes two Business Coordinators to help manage digital campaigns for clients and an Associate Creative Director to translate strategy into compelling creative concepts with execution for multiple marketing channels.

Red Door Interactive new hires include:

• Patrick Cinco, Associate Creative Director, Design. Patrick comes to Red Door from NYCA where he was Associate Creative Director and worked on brands including Adidas Golf and TaylorMade Golf. Prior to that position, Patrick was Senior Art Director at Deutsch LA and created integrated campaigns for accounts including Sony PlayStation, Dr. Pepper, Saturn Motor Company, and played a key role in securing the HTC and VW accounts. In addition, he gained experience at Saatchi and Saatchi’s Team One as Interactive Art Director and Relationship Marketing Art Director. In this capacity, he art directed several digital campaign initiatives for Lexus Motor Company and Natural Resources Defense Council. Patrick started his career at TBWA/CHIAT/Day where he acted as Interactive Designer and Interactive Art Director for accounts including Nissan Motor Company, Infiniti Motor Company, Apple, ABC, and Taco Bell. Patrick received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. In 2010, he won a Gold Effie from the American Marketing Association for his work on Sony PlayStation’s “MLB ’09: The Show” campaign and has won multiple One Show Pencils for his work.
• Tanya Haney, Business Coordinator. Previously, Tanya worked for L7 Creative Communications where she served as the Account Executive and Social Media Specialist. In these roles, she maintained various client accounts, developed marketing plans, managed branding campaigns, created a “best practices” manual for new media platforms, implemented pilot programs for social marketing strategies and oversaw media planning and placement. In addition, Tanya worked at 91x as the Promotions Intern and organized events and established brand recognition through promotional product advertising. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.
• Andrea Jessup, Business Coordinator. Andrea joins Red Door from CBS Outdoor where she was the Sales and Account Executive Assistant and provided custom media solutions to outdoor advertising agencies and managed marketing materials for both local and national clients. Andrea’s other professional experience includes Guest Services Representative for Club 3500 and Personal Project Manager to the Executive and President of the WellPoint Foundation. Prior to those roles, she was the Strategic Marketing Coordinator at IQNavigator and co-managed marketing projects, planned the advertising and sponsorship of six global industry tradeshows, facilitated introductions with industry analysts, handled website updates, newsletters, SEO initiatives, email marketing campaigns and was responsible for increasing awareness of webinars through quarterly promotions. In addition, Andrea participated in two internship programs with Schenkein Public Relations and Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

- Associate Creative Director/Copywriter, Associate Email Specialist bring wealth of experience, leadership and depth to agency –

San Diego – May 2, 2011 – Red Door Interactive, a premier strategic Internet Presence Management firm, announced today the addition of Sarah Hughes, Associate Creative Director/Copywriter, and Mallory Mahoney, Associate Email Specialist, to its San Diego office.

With more than a decade of experience, Hughes will develop online content for clients while Mahoney will help the agency expand its email marketing practices and drive results for clients.

“Sarah brings a high-level of conceptual creative experience that complements our creative and strategy teams. She has a proven track record of developing consistent, sustainable voices and we look forward to the impact she will have in driving profit for our clients,” said Amy Carr, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Red Door Interactive. “Mallory possesses a great deal of hands-on experience with marketing strategies and tactics, including social media and email, and she’s going to be an extremely valuable resource for our clients as we continue to develop new campaigns.”

Hughes comes to Red Door from DGWB, an advertising and communications agency, where she was the Senior Copywriter and worked with prominent clients, including Hilton Garden Inn, California Avocado Commission and Dole Fresh Fruit. Prior to that position, she was the Copywriter for Ignited and worked with brands such as Cartoon Network, NBC Universal, Sony VAIO and the U.S. Army. In earlier years, Hughes was a copywriter at Vitrorobertson and worked with clients, including ASICS, Kyocera, Taylor Guitars, Baskin Robbins and Yamaha. She started her career at Sawyer Riley Compton as a Copywriter and assisted clients such as Ritz-Carlton and Comcast Cable. Hughes received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Advertising from the University of Georgia.

Prior to joining Red Door, Mahoney was the Marketing Assistant at Heritage Golf Group and was responsible for the marketing initiatives of 16 private and resort country clubs throughout the U.S. with an emphasis on print & online media, email marketing and social networking. In 2009, she received the Heritage Golf Group General Manager’s Appreciation Award and the Heritage Golf Group President’s Award in 2008. In addition, Mahoney acted as the Visitor’s Center Ambassador at King Estate Winery where she conducted wine tastings and facility daily tours for more than 150 guests in an effort to increase wine sales and brand recognition. Mahoney earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Marketing from the University of Oregon’s Charles H. Lundquist College of Business.

Lisa also served as VP/Creative Director at Digitas NY, where she directed online engagements for Ann Taylor, Seagram’s and Starwood Hotels & Resorts with an emphasis on e-commerce and integrated marketing. Lisa also spent a solid part of her interactive career at Grey Interactive NY, garnering numerous creative awards and industry accolades for her work on Dell Computer, Cover Girl, Pantene, 3 Musketeers, Pringles, Kraft, Chapstick, Skittles and Liz Claiborne. As an Executive Creative Director, what do you do for your clients?
I get super involved in making their brand and business succeed online while helping them make a meaningful connection with their customers. I make that process happen collaboratively and energetically through words, ideas and pictures. Their successes are our successes – when you have a vision and turn it into something that gets results, it’s exhilarating.

Who were the biggest inspirations for your career?
Milton Glaser, Seymour Chwast, Ettore Sottsass, Tibor Kalman, Micheal Beirut, Paula Scher, Charles S. Schultz, Hanna-Barbera, Roald Dahl, The Reverend Howard Finster, Adolf Wolfli, Laurie Anderson, Johnny Carson. Experts in words, visuals or delivery – or all three.

What excites you about the creative aspect of the interactive marketing space?
This medium is smart, fluid and immediate. And it’s always changing.

Of all the creative projects you have been involved in at Red Door what was your favorite one?
Our Rubio’s Langostino Lobster/Dr. Pepper Social Media Holiday Jingle Campaign which won two Amy Awards (Best New Media Marketing & People’s Choice Award) and a Silver ADDY Award (Web/Online Campaign).

What has been your most memorable moment thus far in your tenure with Red Door?
Very recently I had the privilege of sitting at the table with the legendary Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar for a branding download for our client New Leaders for New Schools in New York City.

As the Executive Creative Director what is the most important part of your job?
Idea generation, collaboration, connection and smart execution that informs, educates, entertains and amuses. And – making sure that whatever we create gets the right people to remember something, feel something or do something. Remember – if they don’t ask why, they’ll walk on by.

When you need creative solutions what do you do?
When I need a solution, I drink a glass of water. Water, of course, is the universal solvent;  so when I need a solution, I drink a glass of water. (For an even better creative solution I might also add bourbon.)

What do you like most about your job?
I like that I actually get paid for having ideas and using my imagination. When imagination drives intellect, the door of inspiration opens. (Here’s a secret – even if this weren’t my job I’d be doing it anyway.)

What do you like to do when you’re not working with clients to improve their online presence?
Winter sports like women’s luge and speed skating.

What is your favorite quote?
