Company reports 40 percent revenue increase in 2009
Red Door Interactive, a premier strategic Internet Presence Management firm, announced the hiring of several new employees for new roles as a result of its continued growth in 2009.
The company estimates revenues increased by 40 percent last year over 2008 despite the impact the recession had on similar agencies.
“We’re passionate about ensuring our clients profit from online initiatives, and believe that’s the core reason for our continued success” said Reid Carr, President of Red Door Interactive. “We view ourselves as business strategists first who help companies optimize their Web operations to increase sales while reducing costs. This sets us apart from competing firms who focus on just developing Web sites or designing ads. People we hire must share the same commitment to dollars and cents results, and we’re excited about adding to the cadre of great talent we already have!”
Red Door Interactive’s new hires in the last month are:
•Chelsea Bakewell, Marketing Communications Coordinator. She worked most recently for Barney and Barney in helping to plan and execute their 100th year anniversary gala.
•Sarah Carr, Project Manager. She has experience working in media at Digitas, LLC in Boston and most recently as a Junior Integrated Producer at the Crispin Porter + Bogusky ad agency’s Boulder, Colorado offices.
•Jessica Hill, Business Coordinator. She has had several marketing and agency internships, including NBC/GE Telemundo, and is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
•Stephanie Shortsleeve, Business Manager. She comes to Red Door from the San Diego-based advertising agency Greenhaus where she worked in client services.
“We spend a great deal of time picking the right people to work here. In expanding our team to develop key emerging service areas, we look for folks who consistently commit to grow individually and as a team,” said Amy Carr, Executive Vice President, HR for Red Door Interactive. “Maintaining that culture and tailoring our HR initiatives to changing needs directly benefits not just our ability to help our clients, but helps us stay true to our values of being a business that’s recognized for being an efficient, successful operation in its own right. We’re looking forward to great things from these folks, and excited to have them aboard!”
Other recent hires that occurred last fall include Renee Brown, Media Planner and Gema Terrones, Experience Planner.
