The Red Door Denver office is excited to announce that we have adopted a planter box in the community garden behind our office building!
We spent a Sunday afternoon in the community garden digging, tilling, and tidying up in preparation for planting our garden. The garden had been a little neglected over the Winter season but we got in there and took care of business. We tore out all of the old, dead shrubbery, fertilized the soil, set up new composting bins and even took some time out to meet the neighbors from surrounding businesses. It was great fun and better yet, a great way for us to go green!
Everyone in our Denver office has committed to chipping in over the next few months to tend to our garden. But, we still haven’t decided what to plant in our garden. We are leaning towards watermelon, tomatoes, lettuce, beets, and strawberries but we’re open to suggestions! Any ideas on what we should plant?
We’ll be posting pictures of our garden over the next few months so that you can enjoy it as much as we plan to!
