User Experience Designer

The focus in this role is results-driven planning and site optimization through an understanding of user behavior and passion for discovering creative ways to leverage the Internet as an extension of the clients' business models.

In this role you will learn how to:

  • Discover and refine project requirements through client interviews and market research, including: Web analytics, voice of customer, personas, contextual observation, surveys and competitive analysis
  • Define project goals and success metrics ensuring they are upheld during the design and development phases of the project
  • Document functional decisions and content strategy in specifications, wireframes, site maps, flowcharts, and/or interactive prototypes
  • Present planning deliverables and defend design decisions as they relate to project goals, research, and usability best practices
  • Collaborate with in-house Web analyst to develop insights and recommendations for site optimization through continuous improvement process

Experience that will help in this role:

  • Coursework in Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related fields
  • Passion for user-centered and results-driven design

Requirement for all positions:

  • Personal laptop required
  • Fluent with MS Office applications
