The Research Strategist provides strategic insight to clients covering areas of consumer opinion and behavior, market growth opportunities, and Internet trends. As owner of the client learning agenda, the Research Strategist anticipates research needs, designs research plans, and performs analysis on data extracting key observations that challenge assumptions and guide interactive strategy.
The Research Strategist is able to inspire and support the direction of the cross-functional project team with a complete view of the customer and external market perspective. This position will collaborate with other data holders such as the SEO Analyst, Web Developer, Project Manager, and Business Manager to understand and substantiate ideas and recommendations.
In this role you will learn how to:
- Anticipate ongoing client and internal research needs
- Identify and maintain appropriate research resources and methodologies
- Develop research plans
- Perform data analysis and reporting
- Eloquently communicate and present research findings
- Map research data to personas
- Use research products and processes
- Manage planning process for project to include writing Project/Brand Brief
- Work with internal resources to produce predictive models and outcomes
Experience that will help in this role:
- Coursework in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Statistics, or related fields
Requirement for all positions:
- Personal laptop required
- Fluent with MS Office applications
