Project Manager

The Project Manager's role is internally managing and facilitating client projects that are on time, on budget, and that meet specifications and client expectations. The Project Manager's focus is to drive the deliverables of the project while partnering with all project shareholders in seeing projects through from beginning to end.

In this role you will learn how to:

  • Estimate and maintain project budgets
  • Create and maintain project timeline
  • Manage assets
  • Use project management products and processes
  • Manage internal project:
    • Schedule all internal meetings
    • Write functional specifications with Technology Team
    • Coordinate deliverables
    • Ensure project is on-time/within budget
    • Respond to and resolve conflicts with clients relating to scheduling, budgeting, quality issues, etc.
    • Report internal status to Business Manager/status meetings/notes
    • Notify Business Manager of risk/scope creep
    • Confirm work is correct and delivered per project/client expectation
    • Schedule post project meetings and documentation
  • Prepare all project deliverable approval forms (send to Business Manager for delivery to client):
    • Proposals/estimates
    • Schedules
    • Project/Brand Brief
    • Site map/wireframes
    • Functional/tech spec
    • Design
  • Manage beta (pre-release) reviews
  • Act as client contact #2 when Business Manager is unavailable

Experience that will help in this role:

  • Coursework in Project Management, Management & Leadership, Marketing, Finance, or related fields
  • Highly organized

Requirement for all positions:

  • Personal laptop required
  • Fluent with MS Office applications
