Overview
The San Diego Convention Center Corporation was created by the City of San Diego to manage, operate and market the 2.6 million square foot world-class facility. Since opening in 1989, the Convention Center has generated more than $11 million in regional economic impact, $227 in tax revenues for the City of San Diego that helps reduce the burden on local tax payers and is responsible for supporting nearly 8,000 jobs county-wide.
