Overview
Barney & Barney distributes a variety of commercial insurance products, including property/casualty coverage and employee benefits plans. In addition to general property and casualty, the company brokers policies for inland marine, professional liability, intellectual property, and directors and officers liability. It also helps clients manage risk through loss prevention programs, claims management services, and business continuity planning. Barney & Barney was founded in 1909 and is a member of Assurex Global, an association of independent brokerages with members around the world. In 2008, Barney & Barney merged with Saylor & Hill.
