Red Door Interactive created an integrated online campaign (microsite, email, banner ads) to promote the release of a new Macintosh edition of TurningPoint, an interactive audience response system. Promos on the home page and within the Web site linked to the microsite. An email blast to existing customers and banner ads running on elementary education admin sites pointed consumers to the microsite. Once there, visitors were invited to play a contest to select the correct apple. Winners received a free audience response system. Non-winners were given another chance to win by entering a drawing for a grand prize, another free audience response system. Consumers embraced the campaign as well as the new Macintosh edition with an impressive 26.30% conversion rate on the email and 12.12% of banner ad respondents visiting the site, participating in the contest, or downloading software.
