Sharp Systems
High tech meets high fashion.
Target. Target. Target. It’s one of the strengths of interactive marketing. Sharp Systems USA wanted to promote its sleek new laptop, the M4000. Banner ads were strategically bought at gizmodo.com to reach men and at Womensforum.com to target women. Creative was equally focused with the gizmodo.com ad featuring an eye-catching banner comparing the M4000 to a super model while the Womensforum.com messaging reflected the thoughts of women. And the results – a .17 click-through rate for gizmodo.com and an impressive 0.30 click-through rate for the Womensforum.com campaign. Plus, page retention was almost 30%.
