Red Door Interactive worked with La Quinta to develop, execute, and manage the organization’s social media strategy.  Last Fall, La Quinta Inns & Suites across the country took part in the “Road Wins” college football sweepstakes and everyone who stayed at the hotel during a specified time was automatically entered to win a travel package and tickets to see a college football game. Not only did Red Door extend the promotion to Facebook, it successfully leveraged the contest for fan acquisition and social engagement. 

Project Results

The contest gained fan acquisition and social engagement. At the end of the sweeps, there were almost 4,000 Facebook submissions and the page garnered 6,8000 new members from the PPC ad campaign. The amount of engagement increased with the influx of new Likes. In addition, fan engagement increased tremendously, with the campaign producing the highest average number of per-post engagement to date.
