Blogger Outreach

To help ASICS engage with the online running community, RDI conducted research to identify a list of passionate running bloggers with an active social media following.  ASICS offered eleven of these bloggers a 12-week training program with Coach Andrew Kastor and an opportunity to run in the 2014 LA Marathon. The idea was to develop a meaningful relationship with the run-blogging community, increase blogger-generated content about ASICS products and the 2014 ASICS LA Marathon, and to gain quality inbound links back to asicsamerica.com to improve the site’s rank in search results.
