2016 marked the third annual ASICS Beat the Sun race, the brand’s premier owned epic trail running event. To help promote Beat the Sun, Red Door executed a cross-channel campaign that included a robust social media strategy and live event coverage, training videos, as well as the creation of an event microsite. Project Results

By generating more awareness and global participation leading up to the event, as well as introducing a “virtual race” concept, Beat the Sun 2016 had a 996% increase in total hashtag mentions than the previous year.
