We:30 Share and Tell: Ashley's Design Portfolio

Every Wednesday at 3:30 we get together to celebrate an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed and be 100% jerk-free. Our Share and Tell edition invites an employee to share something that inspires them and has a unique story.

This week Ashley Hildebrand, Red Door's Junior Designer, brought her design portfolio!

For this week’s Share & Tell, I brought in my portfolio and some personal projects.

I’ve been in love with art and design ever since I was a little girl. I’ve been told that when I was little, I used to draw perfectly inside the lines of my coloring book, match crayon colors, and rename the colors of my crayons. I first began actual graphic design my freshman year of high school — I took a Graphic Design 1 class that was truly inspirational.

Additionally, I absolutely love to craft and build things, especially packaging.  In my free time, I make jewelry. It’s actually really relaxing! I also really enjoy painting with watercolors, which many of my personal projects have stemmed from. I like using watercolor for patterns, textures, and sometimes even logos.
My portfolio was created my last semester of college. It was a lot of hard work, tears, and sweat, but it was definitely worth it!
