Expanding the Market: Red Door's SEO Strategy Improves ASICS' Online Presence

Project Overview
Red Door formulated and executed a holistic SEO strategy for ASICS America, following the April 2013 launch of their e-commerce website. As a brand committed to high performance and innovation, this was a great opportunity for ASICS to expand their market and boost their influence in the spheres of health and fitness.
 
Goals
To improve ASICS’ visibility in search results and increase organic search traffic and e-commerce revenue. 

Tactics

  • Establish technical optimization to ensure that search engines are able to access, understand and index the appropriate content
  • Establish on-page optimization to align with the language used by consumers in search engines
  • Proactively acquire links to enable the e-commerce website to achieve rankings for search terms important to driving brand awareness and revenue
Results
With the implementation of Red Door’s SEO strategy, organic search visits increased by 57% year-over-year in the fall of 2014. From this boost in organic search traffic, revenue from ASICS’ e-commerce website demonstrated an over 285% increase by the end of the first year following the start of Red Door’s SEO involvement.
