< Back to Main Blog We:30 of the Week: Amy! By Red Door on November 13, 2013 | Red Door, Red Door Culture | Leave a comment We:30 is a weekly tradition here at Red Door Interactive, in which we take the time to celebrate and feature an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed, and be 100% jerk-free. We:30 also gives us a chance to learn some interesting and fun facts about the featured employee! I am currently a Senior at UC San Diego, majoring in Communications with a minor in Business. I am originally from Pleasant Hill, CA, the East Bay of Nor Cal. I studied abroad in Fall of last year in Rome, Italy and had the timeof my life. I went to other places within Italy, Germany, and Ireland. I also visited my cousin in Finland while I was there! Every summer for the past four years I have traveled the country on a bus doing an activity called Drum Corps. I was a member of a group called The Blue Devils and we won the world championship twice while I was in it! I played the mellophone (think of an oversized trumpet). I love to do yoga and go running. I have one brother who is currently in his first year at Cal Poly SLO. I can't wait until I graduate so that I can get a puppy! Hopefully a French Bulldog or Dachshund. Nothing is more important to me than good food, good friends, and family. Strengths: Individualization, strategic, learner, input, significance As a Research and Strategy Intern it is my job to provide research for competitive analysis for different clients, write POVs based on industry trends, compose weekly client newsletters and provide overall support for other areas of planning and strategy.
