We:30 of the Week – Ray

We:30 is a weekly tradition here at Red Door Interactive, in which we take the time to celebrate and feature an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed, and be 100% jerk-free. We:30 also gives us a chance to learn some interesting and fun facts about the featured employee! This week features Ray Usoro, Jr. Systems Administrator! Did you know…
  • I spent 3 years of my life, between the ages of 9-13, in Africa.  I attended school there and learned how to be grateful for the “simple” things.  My favorite pastime was kicking it with Rambo, our neighbor’s pet monkey.
  • I really fell in love with computers after designing my first website as a sophomore in high school.  It was dedicated to listing the button combinations for moves on Mortal Kombat.
  • I became a certified computer service technician at 16 thanks to the United Way Urban League of Atlanta then I graduated high school and joined the Navy.
  • I’m an adventurer at heart. I’ve been on every continent, except Antarctica.
  • I’m an enigma of sorts. I’m African, a techie, foodie, gamer, skateboarder, dreamer, realist, self-proclaimed fashionista, and former 225 lb. Navy Southwest Regional wide receiver.
  • I’m the Junior Systems Administrator at Red Door. I ensure the operation and availability of our network infrastructure which in turn helps achieve the continual delivery of value to Red Door’s clients.
