< Back to Main Blog We:30 of the Week - Erika! By Red Door on December 19, 2012 | Red Door Culture | Leave a comment We:30 is a weekly tradition here at Red Door Interactive, in which we take the time to celebrate and feature an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed, and be 100% jerk-free. We:30 also gives us a chance to learn some interesting and fun facts about the featured employee! This week features Erika Werner, Red Door’s Vice President of Business Development! Did you know… She's a Valley Girl, who grew up in Chatsworth CA (home of Charles Manson and the Night Stalker) hence why she is a scaredy-cat. Erika loves playing games and gambling, especially Texas Hold'em. She won her first royal flush on a video poker machine in Vegas but could not collect the $1,000 payout because she was underage at 19 years old. Even though she has not hit a royal since, she did place 2nd out of 50 players in her husband's company poker tournament and also won a bet against Reid on how fast she could bring a dead plant back to life. She completed her Graphic Design degree at San Diego State University, where she was the operations manager of the Daily Aztec, social chair of the sorority (Pi Beta Phi), and also played club volleyball. As the Vice President of Business Development, she is responsible for developing new client relationships at Red Door. Erika also works with strategic partners as a means of providing additional value to clients.
