< Back to Main Blog We:30 of the Week – Andy! By Red Door on December 05, 2012 | Red Door Culture | Leave a comment We:30 is a weekly tradition here at Red Door Interactive, in which we take the time to celebrate and feature an employee who exemplifies our core values to inspire, share, evolve, exceed, and be 100% jerk-free. We:30 also gives us a chance to learn some interesting and fun facts about the featured employee! This week features Andy Batten, Red Door’s Manager of Web Analytics! Did you know… As a child, he had quite a few pet turtles, most of them caught while fishing with his dad. At one point, he had at least 7 or 8 and started trading them like baseball cards with his friends. He co-owns a retail health supplement company and finds all aspects of exercise and nutrition interesting. In 2008, he entered a bodybuilding competition on a whim and got 4th place! Obsessed with fireworks growing up, Andy would collect all the 'duds' in front of people's houses that didn't go off during July 4th and then experiment for the rest of the day. At one point, he burned the front of his hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes all at once! As Manager of Web Analytics, his role is to guide the Analytics direction at Red Door and show clients how data (and should) be used to optimize and drive their business.
