Reid Carr, President (view bio)
A frequent speaker at shows, seminars and conferences, Reid Carr can participate as a moderator, panelist, keynote or interviewee on a broad range of Internet- or business-related subjects. His content, advice and comments have appeared in a wide range of publications including iMedia Connection, Fast Company, Entrepreneur Magazine, AdWeek, Advertising Age, PR Week, SmartMoney and others. He has also participated in several broadcast interviews.
Reid has a dynamic, off-the-cuff style and promotes audience participation in just about any format.
Sandra Ahn – Senior Strategist, Business Planning & Optimization
The truth is out there. Sandra is always digging for the little nugget of insight that truly helps us understand what users and customers are looking for. She finds out what makes people tick and uses market information and research data and crystallizes it down into a single idea to inspire and target strategy.
Sandra's insights into target markets and client business goals also help her in her role in leading Red Door's online media strategy. Sandra's duties require her to switch back and forth between right and left brain functions as she works on everything from creative reviews to site optimization to heavy duty projections to business contribution numbers.
Before joining Red Door, Sandra worked in PR/marketing for clients such as Kyocera as well as political fundraising. She graduated from UCSD with a degree in Political Science. Sandra may also be the fastest Excel formula developer known to man.
Pilar Bower - Optimization and Email Strategist
Pilar leads optimization and testing projects for clients including Cricket Wireless. Her efforts help us understand consumer behavior better and as a result, design online experiences that both engage and convert more efficiently. Pilar is also our resident email expert for all client efforts.
Pilar began working in the advertising department at the Miami Herald. A move to the West Coast brought her to the Hollywood Reporter where she managed online inventory and launched Academy Awards and studio microsites. There she found her calling in the interactive world and shortly afterwards joined Red Door.
Pilar graduated from University of Miami, Florida. She wears more orange than normal during football season to show her support of the Miami Hurricanes.
John Faris – Senior Strategist, Business Planning & Optimization
By working on both the client and agency side, John has gained experience in just about every aspect of marketing, both online and offline. Through his experiences, John has come to learn that a successful Web site must operate with its own holistic and diversified strategy, while leveraging and integrating with offline campaigns. Consequently, he has made it a point to acquire knowledge that encompasses integrated interactive marketing strategy, content strategy, SEM (SEO and PPC management), social media marketing (SMM), multivariate testing, behavioral targeting and client training.
John frequently speaks on emerging interactive trends and has also written articles for Website Magazine, iMedia Connection, and Search Engine Land. John graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, where he later earned his MBA with Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honors. In his spare time John likes to surf (waves, not just the Internet) and spend time with his dog, Robbie.
Jeannie Metz-Fratoni, Creative Director (view bio)
Jeannie has participated in numerous local events related to creative concept development in both print and online, career development and making the most out of the creative product.
Jeannie has a forthcoming, honest style that will help viewers or participants connect with the creative process and walk away with solid principles from which to operate.
Crosby Noricks - Social Media Strategist
Social media has changed the way we communicate. For marketers, the message is no longer a monologue; it’s a dialogue. As Red Door's Web Publicist, Crosby is our in-house social media strategist, helping clients engage customers in online conversation. Her role includes online PR outreach, proactive influencer/blogger relations, social media conversation management, and pursuing new social media opportunities.
Before logging onto Red Door, Crosby worked for various PR agencies with an emphasis in new media and spent two years managing the public relations and marketing department for an online fashion jewelry company. Additionally, Crosby is founder and editor of PRCouture.com, a fashion PR blog currently ranked #1 on Google. Through PR Couture, Crosby has been interviewed and profiled as a fashion marketing expert in several industry trade publications, fashion and PR blogs.
Crosby received a Masters of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Gender/Feminist Studies from Pitzer College.
Charles Wiedenhoft - Director, Business Planning & Optimization (view bio)
Charles is a champion of the user - and of the client. He is always pushing his team and the agency as a whole to ask the question, "What creates value for the user and our clients?" As Director of User Experience at Red Door, Charles leads the agency's data insights and experience planning group. His involvement in Web strategy spans nearly a decade with an award-winning mix of design and technical expertise. He has consulted on Web initiatives for companies such as P&G, Intuit, GE, Sempra Energy, Nissan, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Cincinnati Bell, and others.
Charles has published several articles for Chief Marketer and has been quoted in BtoB Magazine and eCommerce Magazine. He frequently speaks on the topic of Web analytics and usability.
Charles received his Bachelor of Science in Digital Design from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.
Morgan Witt - Manager, Marketing & Strategic Partnerships
As manager of marketing and strategic partnerships, Morgan plays an essential role in generating new leads, securing more revenue from existing clients, developing strategic partnerships and supporting the expansion of Red Door Interactive. Before he joined Red Door, Morgan founded NOVOLOGIQ, a strategic marketing and communications consultancy. Witt previously served as director of marketing strategy for Juice Media where he was responsible for developing client marketing initiatives and overseeing the development of the company's flagship product, JuiceMetrIQs. In earlier years, he was senior account development manager and senior manager of deliverability and ISP relations at the Bluehornet division of Digital River, Inc. At Bluehornet Witt developed and managed online marketing campaigns for enterprise brands such as Forbes, Citysearch and KSL Resorts.
Morgan received his B.B.A and M.B.A. from National University. He authors StrictlySocial.com, a blog focused on electronic music and DJ culture.
