Red Door Interactive wins two Internet Advertising Competition awards
Company named Best Internet Service Provider with a Rich Media Online Campaign, Best Restaurant Website

Red Door Interactive, a premier strategic Internet Presence Management firm, today announced their selection as the winner of two categories in the Web Marketing Association’s 7th annual Internet Advertising Competition.

The awards included “Best Internet Service Provider with a Rich Media Online Campaign” for Cox Communications and “Best Restaurant Website” on behalf of Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill.

“It’s great to see our team, work and clients recognized by such a prominent association,” said Reid Carr, President of Red Door Interactive. “We went up against some great competition and to stand out as the leader in our industry really reinforces the value we’re able to provide our clients and our ability to deliver business results.”

Cox Communications’ Save the World campaign was geared toward converting AT&T high-speed Internet customers to their competing service. The online initiative recognized problems in the economy with a headline that reads, “Save time, Save money, Save gas, Save the World.” The campaign illustrated how customers can reduce their Internet service costs, and provided a low-priced introductory offer for Cox’s service.

The Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill initiative wanted customers to perceive the restaurant as a fun, healthy alternative to fast-food eating while also increasing online and offline traffic, gift card, email and location conversation rates as well as elevate Rubio’s a-Go-Go catering transactions online. To accomplish this, Red Door performed a complete site redesign and created a beach-themed site with the headline, “It’s not a destination. It’s a state of mind” to provide a sense of something more than just a vacation spot. Over the last quarter, the site increased Rubio’s a-Go-Go conversion rate by 20 percent, gift card conversion rate by 17 percent and Beach Club sign-up conversion rate by 20 percent.

“The Internet Advertising Competition had extensive criteria for applicants that focused on everything from creativity and innovation all the way to impact, design, copywriting and use of medium,” said Jeannie Fratoni, Creative Director for Red Door Interactive. “These awards are a direct result of the hard work and dedication our teams put towards the clients and ensuring their goals are met and results are measurable.”

The Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the award winning Internet advertising. This is one of the only competitions to recognize only online categories of advertising. More information is available at http://www.advertisingcompetition.org/iac/.
