Red Door Interactive Launches Interactive Press Center Product

SAN DIEGO --May 22, 2002--Red Door Interactive, a provider of Internet presence management services, today announced the launch of its new Interactive Press Center product. The Interactive Press Center is a hosted news site that provides media relations professionals with a simple-to-use resource that is dedicated to maintaining accurate and up-to-date news and other important information on the company's Web site.

The product is hosted on Red Door servers, yet retains the look of the client's site with integration seamless to viewers. The most recent releases are highlighted on the home page and available in full within the news release section. Press kits, photos and graphics can be added easily and are accessible for download by reporters. The Interactive Press Center is geared toward public relations agencies and media relations departments of privately held, smaller-to mid-sized enterprises that do not have the same requirements as public companies.

A recent Middleburg/Ross study of more than 500 reporters indicated that 99 percent of reporters go online at least once daily, 92 percent use the Internet for research purposes, and on average, reporters spend 15 hours per week on email and the Web. According to Red Door, these statistics alone prove the need for a site that is news-savvy and always current. "Ensemble Communications addresses global markets and needs to communicate with media and analysts around the world," said Mr. Dan Guitteau, director of corporate communications for Ensemble Communications. "Red Door's Press Center enables us to `push' our news to target audiences, and provide media advisories, white papers, and photos 24 hours a day. We've already seen a tremendous ROI in media hits and new press contacts alone."

The initial integration with the user's Web site can be accomplished in as few as three days for a standard installment. Red Door offers the service on both monthly and yearly licensing contracts at rates affordable to smaller-to mid-sized businesses.

An outstanding feature of the service is the simplicity with which news, press coverage, upcoming events and press kits can be updated. By using simple templates, any authorized user can add, modify or delete information in just seconds. Several custom options are also available, including the ability to incorporate an ftp site, rich video media and time features.
