An easy gift? It's in the cards
Convenience helps make them popular Christmas presents

As throngs of shoppers descend upon malls for last-minute Christmas presents today and tomorrow, many will opt for what has become an easy choice: gift cards.
Clothing will probably be the most popular gift this holiday season, chosen by 73 percent of gift givers. Gift cards will be in second place, with 60 percent of givers buying at least one, according to a survey by Consumer Reports magazine.
